Boro Park Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee the operations of our nursing unit in Brooklyn, NY. Skills

  • Valid State RN License
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Handle all supervisory duties for the assigned unit
  • Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
  • Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice
  • Maintain the standards of care for the unit
  • Review resident records and quality of care
  • Monitor overall care and review individual residents’ cases
  • Address questions or complaints brought forward by residents or their families
  • Represent the unit’s interests with upper-level management

Qualifications

  • 3 years of Long Term Care Experience preferred
  • 2 years of Charge Nurse experience preferred

Education Requirements

  • Must hold a valid State RN License

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Nursing

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Long Term Care
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse
