Skills

  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead crews effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and understand telephone and CATV prints
  • Previous training in utility safety standards
  • Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a work crew of 2-3 members
  • Plan efficient work orders for daily and weekly tasks
  • Identify, communicate, and troubleshoot job site problems
  • Execute quality work and maintain professionalism on the job site
  • Create and ensure a positive company image while working

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility construction/telephone cable placement as a manager/foreman/HDD operator
  • Willingness to travel Monday-Friday throughout the state (Primarily Southeastern WI) and be home on weekends
  • An insurance-acceptable driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred or able to obtain)

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Relevant certifications in utility construction or telecommunications are preferred but not mandatory.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in utility construction or related field.
