We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Silicon Operations to take full ownership of the supply chain for all silicon products, including Endpoint ICs and Reader ICs. In this role, you will manage the entire production lifecycle, from wafer procurement to post-processing, finished goods, warehousing, and customer shipments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quantity, quality, and cost targets are met while supporting significant growth in the organization. The role requires strong leadership and strategic oversight to support our expanding operations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base salary for this position typically ranges from \(190,000 to \)305,000 annually, depending on experience, role complexity, and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete supply chain for all silicon products.
  • Develop and execute a rolling 5-year supply chain strategy that supports long-term growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management to create demand forecasts for both the near-term and long-term.
  • Ensure wafer supply strategy aligns with financial goals and customer needs.
  • Manage and expand the network of contract manufacturers to ensure efficient production of finished goods.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service and maintain high quality standards while achieving operational and financial goals.
  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, including contracts, negotiations, and supplier relationships for raw materials, manufacturing, and logistics globally.
  • Oversee manufacturing and logistics operations to meet the highest industry standards.
  • Continuously track, report, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the supply chain.
  • Manage the capital and operational budget to ensure the smooth flow of supply.
  • Grow and develop the team to keep pace with rapid organizational expansion.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with 5-7 years in managerial roles across global organizations.
  • Experience in regulated industries and working with ISO9001 standards.
  • Proven track record of supplier management, cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Strong background in negotiating large-scale, multi-year contracts with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Expertise in scaling organizations and processes to support business growth.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
