Skills

• Knowledge of modern educational tools and technologies, including Google Suite and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide educational plans tailored to individual student needs using a variety of curricula and virtual tools.
• Schedule and conduct regular meetings with parents and students via video calls and other virtual platforms.
• Maintain detailed records and reports, including student portfolio submissions, progress, and monthly updates.
• Partner with the Special Education team to meet the needs of students with specific requirements.
• Plan and deliver weekly virtual classes that engage students and foster growth.
• Organize and oversee student field trips, traveling to various locations.
• Give and receive constructive feedback and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our educational model.
• Utilize modern tools like Google Suite for Education, MS Excel, and other software to streamline tasks and communications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and a current State of Oregon Teaching License.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience or completion of an Oregon instructional internship program (3+ years preferred).
• A dedicated home workspace free from distractions.
• Background check, First Aid/CPR certification, and residency in Oregon.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Current State of Oregon Teaching License.

Experience Requirements

• At least one year of successful teaching experience or completion of an Oregon instructional internship program (3+ years preferred).
