Volunteers are the backbone of Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles and share the mission, vision, principles, and values of the organization. We believe “everyone should have a safe, healthy, and affordable place to live, grow, and raise a family.” In that vein, the role of the Volunteer Coordinator is the main point of contact with the public and is vital to helping Habitat, St. Charles carry out its mission through volunteer retention. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all volunteer activities within the organization, including but not limited to recruiting, building, and maintaining relationships, scheduling, managing, and tracking volunteer hours, and regularly reporting data.
