The Materials Management Associate will be primarily responsible for receiving, shipping, and other warehouse functions and processes. Key activities include inventory cycle counts, maintaining and ordering shipping supplies, record keeping, organizing the warehouse, and ensuring cleanliness. This role is essential to meet departmental schedules, committed timelines, and legal requirements while ensuring compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and document purchased goods against purchase orders and shipping documents
- Inspect shipments upon receipt, documenting any damage or discrepancies
- Assemble outgoing shipments and prepare necessary shipping documentation
- Complete inventory transactions for receiving, assigning locations, and issuing inventory
- Operate warehouse equipment and perform daily maintenance checks
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clean and safe work areas
- Maintain productivity and accuracy goals within the department
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse management or materials handling preferred
- Understanding of cGMP and safety compliance regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management preferred
