As a Repair Technician II, you will take on a critical role in supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites and projects. This is a remote, hourly position that requires 100% travel across the Midwest. In this position, you will enjoy the excitement of travel while growing your electrical and mechanical skills. With overtime, travel, and supplemental earnings, Repair Technicians have the potential to earn over $100,000 per year.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay salary range for this position is \(27.43 to \)33.43/hr., with potential for additional variable compensation based on experience and qualifications. A one-time sign-on bonus of \(2,500 USD/\)3,300 CAD is also available, subject to eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction and installation projects throughout the turbine life cycle.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate or 1 year of wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate or relevant work experience in wind turbine or mechanical/electrical fields.
