The Repair Technician II is a remote, hourly position requiring 100% travel across the Midwest. With overtime, travel, and supplemental earnings, Repair Technicians can potentially earn over $100,000 per year. Compensation and Benefits

The base pay salary range for this position is \(27.43 to \)33.43/hr., with potential for additional variable compensation. Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Furthermore, a one-time sign-on bonus of \(2,500 USD/\)3,300 CAD is available, subject to eligibility requirements and applicable taxes.

  • Wind Technician certificate or equivalent experience in wind turbine or mechanical/electrical fields.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team.
  • Travel to various sites, manage travel and cost coding.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Address advanced problem-solving tasks with effective self-management.
  • Oversee construction and installation projects throughout the life cycle of turbines.
  • Engage with diverse teams and experiences, promoting continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks and handling equipment as required.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Wind Technician certificate preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in wind energy or mechanical/electrical fields.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and with diverse teams.
