As a Repair Technician II at Vestas, you will take on a crucial role in the wind energy sector, providing essential support across multiple projects and sites. This remote, hourly position requires 100% travel across the North West. With overtime, travel, and supplemental earnings, Repair Technicians have the potential to earn over $100,000 per year. Compensation and Benefits

The base pay salary range for this position is \(27.43 to \)33.43 per hour, with potential for additional variable compensation. We offer a one-time sign-on bonus of \(2,500 USD / \)3,300 CAD for eligible candidates. Additional pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with your team.
  • Travel to various sites, engage in travel management and cost coding.
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Handle advanced problem-solving tasks with effective self-management.
  • Oversee the full life cycle of turbine construction and installation projects.
  • Experience a variety of turbine platforms and team environments.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
