Responsibilities

  • Lead front-of-house operations to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Oversee wine bar service and manage reservations
  • Drive wine sales and encourage wine club sign-ups

  • Hire, train, and mentor a small team
  • Support marketing and community engagement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2+ years of lead or management experience in hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of Santa Barbara wines or the broader world of wine
  • Proven ability to drive sales and customer engagement

Education Requirements

  • Wine-related certifications (WSET or CMS preferred but not required)

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certifications in wine or hospitality management

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in wine bar or restaurant management
  • Experience managing POS, reservations, and CRM systems
