Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard tractor around the facility at 15 mph or under
• Follow SWMS tasks to safely move and spot trailers
• Complete manual trailer moves as requested
• Fuel refrigerated trailers and check refrigeration units
• Perform visual inspections of trailers before moves
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and gate personnel
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard and equipment
• Observe and enforce all safety rules

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to observe and communicate safety and maintenance needs

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• High School or Equivalent

Experience Requirements

• Six months previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred
