Responsibilities

  • Act as a “first responder” by implementing treatment plans to prevent behavior escalation
  • Collaborate with families and the child and family team to achieve set goals
  • Develop and teach age-appropriate interventions tailored to individual clients
  • Track findings and reinforce follow-through with clients
  • Complete necessary documentation and partake in weekly supervision and training
  • Work to prevent hospitalization and assist children in transitioning to a lower level of care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, or families with behavioral difficulties
