Responsibilities

  • Act as a ‘first responder’ to implement treatment plans
  • Work one-on-one with children in various settings (home, school, community)
  • Collaborate with parents or guardians and the child and family team
  • Develop and teach age-appropriate interventions
  • Track findings and reinforce follow-through on behavioral interventions
  • Complete necessary documentation and participate in supervision and training sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, or families with behavioral difficulties
  • Strong understanding of behavioral interventions
