The Youth Corps Camping (YCC) Crew Leaders play a crucial role in leading, managing, and supervising conservation crews of nine youth, aged 16-18, throughout the summer. This position entails overseeing two separate groups across two five-week sessions, all while executing a series of conservation-oriented projects on public and private lands. Crew Leaders are expected to facilitate daily lessons using an accredited outdoor education curriculum. The ideal candidates are self-disciplined individuals with patience, empathy, and an inspirational spirit, eager to provide impactful educational experiences to young people while gaining entry into fields like natural resource management and outdoor education.

Detailed Benefits and Perks

• Compensation of $250 for successful completion of a 10-12 day staff training

Skills
