Responsibilities

  • Safely transport youth to and from program sites, schools, and special events using a nonprofit-owned vehicle
  • Follow designated routes and schedules while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions as needed
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
  • Ensure all passengers are safely seated and follow safety protocols (e.g., seatbelts, behavior expectations)
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, trip logs, and attendance
  • Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and youth to coordinate pick-up/drop-off logistics
  • Serve as a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and kindness
  • Assist with loading/unloading program materials when needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with youth preferred
  • Must pass a background check

  • Previous driving experience preferred
