About Springhill Montessori School Springhill Montessori was created to provide much needed early childhood education in southern Dallas, Texas. Prompted and encouraged by Oak Cliff parents, the school opened in the historical King's Highway District on June 1, 2004. Initially the school served children from ages 15 months to 3 years. With just a few students, we began a Toddler classroom in the educational tradition of Maria Montessori. As our first group of students became older, it became necessary to open a Primary classroom to ensure a smooth transition into the next development cycle. With two classrooms and an ever expanding waiting list, it was clear that Springhill Montessori School needed to relocate to a large facility to accommodate the increasing demand.
